For boys and girls ages 6 - 7
Ballet Academy East is an exceptional place for boys and girls to start or continue learning dance. Our Primary syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of Level 1 within BAE’s Pre-Professional Division.
Classes include ballet vocabulary and exercises that develop strength, coordination, and flexibility. Children will experience musicality and the joy of dance in a nurturing environment. Prior ballet experience is not required. No audition is required.
Children must be entering first grade in the current school year. If age 6 but entering Kindergarten, please see the Young Dancer Division information.
For children ages 7 - 12
While BAE is known for producing top dancers, we also offer classes for children who love ballet but do not wish to study as intensively as students envisioning a career in dance. Classes provide exceptional training and are taught by experienced faculty in an encouraging environment. No audition is required.
